We provide hardware & software support, including support for our own in house software, to clients via telephone, email remote connections & onsite calls.

Our IT Support desk provides Monday to Friday remote assistance to all of our clients along with Full Implementations of All Aspects of Microsoft SBS 2003 Server.


Job Overview

  • The successful applicant will become a member of our team of IT Support Desk engineer’s who are primarily responsible for the remote administration of client servers
  •  Manage the workflow and call management of the Deskside team
  •  Coaching and evaluating team members on a regular basis
  •  Providing advice and guidance to customers and IT Support desk engineers
  •  Ability to create knowledgebase documentation
     Defining and implementing new or improved working practices.
     Resolution and recovery of incidents.
  • The successful applicant must be highly motivated with a proven ability to work under pressure while handling multiple assignments.
  • We work closely to our clients SLA’s and as such the successful applicant must have the ability to work to deadlines and provide excellent customer service as we are a service orientated company.
  • The successful Team Leader will be required to work closely in a team of support staff, field engineers & sales employees to provide the highest level of service possible.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary as they will need to liaise with clients
  • Excellent time-keeping and excellent customer service are essential.
  • Logging issues into our call management system

   

     Technical Requirements

  • The successful will have a minimum of 3 years experience of administration & support in the following areas of technical expertise that are essential to the role:
  • Windows Small Business Server 2003/2000 (or related)
  • Windows Microsoft exchange 2000/2003
  • Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/ Vista
  • LAN/WAN/VPN/WLan network technologies
  • Remote Access Technologies
  • Antivirus software (Symantec, McAfee)
  • Microsoft Office, all versions
  • Backup Solutions (Tape, Offsite backup etc)
  • Mobile devices (XDA, Blackberry)
  • Digital Faxing
  • MCSE, MCSA, SBS desirable
