Making a copy of normal.dot

Make a copy of  C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\normal.dot

Open word

Goto tools->templates and addins

Choose organiser

Go to the autotext tab

On the right hand tab choose close file

Now choose open file and select the copy of normal that you made

Select the auto texts you want to transfer from the right hand side

And hit copy

Done!
