 Why is eXpd8 link not visible in Microsoft Outlook?

 


If, when you open Outlook, you cannot see your eXpd8 link option, it is usually one of two problems.

Do you have two copies of outlook open?

Does your pc think you have two copies of outlook open?

Look at your system tray (usually along the bottom of your screen) do you have two Outlooks?




In newer versions of Windows, these may be stacked rather than side by side.


 

eXpd8 link will be activated only in the first instance of Outlook.  Close the second instance.


Sometimes you may only see one Outlook on the task bar but a previous copy of Outlook may not have terminated correctly. You can see this in task manager. 
Click Ctrl Alt Del and chose task manager.

Firstly, check in Applications, can you see two Outlooks?



If you can, select one and hit End Task.  
If you cannot, check in the next tab, Processes.




By clicking on Image name, you can order all items by name, this will make it easier to see if there are two Outlooks.  
If there is, select one and hit End Task.
