Accounts FAQ
What happens if the import export is not open?
If the gateway between the front and back office is closed, you will still be prompted to pass new files or activities to accounts. Once the gateway is opened (import export has been activated) the data will be brought into Time Tracker.
Why would I not be prompted to pass data to accounts?
The accounts software is only activated when there is a client on the file and that client has an account code. If you are not being prompted to pass data to accounts, check that this is the case.
How do I close the import export tool?
Once the import export has been opened and minimised to tray, it sits in the system tray of your pc (down near the clock, bottom right). The icon is grey with a red arrow, (the first on the left below). Double clicking on this icon will maximise it again, click the exit button.
What if I get a message when trying to open the import export tool?
If the import export gateway has been left open by a previous user, perhaps yesterday, you will be prompted with a message as detailed below here. To resolve this, within the accounts software, on the top tool bar, select maintenance, then select users, reset users. Click 'reset selected users'.
