There are times when you may wish to restrict access to certain documents, whilst still keeping them within easy access in eXpd8.
To do this, within Microsoft Word, on the file tab of the document. select info, then permissions, encrypt with password is one of the options.
You will be prompted to add a password and then to confirm it.
Once saved, this document can only be opened if the password is entered when prompted.
A note of advice, because it is easy to forget the password you have added in this way, it is wise to give some thought to the words you will use. Perhaps have one password for documents only you will have access to and a different password for documents you may share with some other colleagues.
