1. Open the synopsis of the document (not the paperclip)
2. You will see at the bottom of the synopsis box there is a "Save As"
button.
3. Click on the "Save As" button and you will then get the option to copy or link as shown below
N.B when you link a document to another file; if you make any changes to the document from it's original location it will automatically change in the location you have linked it to.
4. Once you choose copy you will then see a screen showing you the file you are working on. If you double click on this file a copy of the document will go back into that file but if you delete the blue writing i.e. the file name in the Search Engine you will see a list of all your files in eXpd8 and you can chose which file you would like a copy of the document to go into.
5. Once you choose your file and double click on it you will get a message up as shown below confirming the document was successfully copied.
6. If you then go back into the file where you copied it you will see it at the top of the activity list with the words "Attached Note" alongside. This indicates that it is a copy. You can then open up the synopsis and change the name.
