1. Every template in eXpd8 has a location number.  To copy a template from one category to another is not as simple as "copy & paste".  You must follow the location and then bring in a copy of the template to whatever category you wish it to go into.

2. Beside your categories on the left you will have all of your templates listed on the right.  Each template goes under the following headings:

3. When copying a template from one category to another you must folow the location of the template you want to copy.  Below you can see this template can be located in X\practpro\template\709 (most templates will be located in P\Practpro not X)

4. Firstly, highlight the category you wish a copy of the template to go into, then go to "Open" on the top toolbar, Top_toolbar.JPG  that being the yellow folder shown here.  Once you click on this it will take you outside of eXpd8 - you must then follow to the desired location.  First thing is to drop down to your P-drive.  N.B when you click on open you will automatically see a practpro folder -

This is not the practpro folder in which your templates are located.  You have two practpro folders - one on your C-drive and one on you P-drive so make sure you drop down to the P-drive.  You then go to Practpro\template and to the desired reference number your template is located under.

Once you have located your template, double click on it and it will come into whatever category you highlighted.

5. The template will come in as that number so you must then right click on it and rename it to whatever the template is called.
