How To: Set your email signature in outlook

1. From the Outlook menu bar, select the menu option Tools and then Options ToolsOption_3.jpg

2. The Options screen opens

From here you select the Mail Format tab

3. On the Mail format tab you must select the Signatures..option

4. The Signatures and Stationery screen opens and the E-mail Signature tab is selected.

From here you select the New button...

5. Input a name for your Signature.

Then select the OK button

6. Once you select the OK button you will be returned to the Signatures and Stationery screen, where your Signature name is listed in the Select Signature to edit section Editsection.jpg

7. To add detail to your default Outlook Signature you must enter information into the Edit signature section.

Details can be manually entered into this field or if required copied from another location e.g. your company signature.

The Edit signature section displays a menu which allows you to alter the text, insert a picture or hyperlink etc.

8. Once you have a new signature created you can then select when you want Outlook to use it under the Choose default signature section.

9. For each option - New messages and Replies/Forward you just select the name you gave to the created signature SelectDefault.jpg

For eXpd8 to use the Outlook signature these options must be set.

For further details in setting up an Outlook signature, while in the E-mail Signature tab select F1 on your key board, this will display the Outlook Help Signature pages.
