1.      Microsoft Office Button – contains common file and system commands

2.      SAVING A WORD 2007 DOCUMENTS SO IT CAN BE OPENED IN PREVIOUS WORD VERSIONS Word 2007 documents can only be opened in previous versions of word if the user with the older version has installed the Microsoft Office compatibility Pack for Office 2007 or the person sending the word 2007 document saves it to the older version.

 

1.      Click the Microsoft Office button word20072.jpg

2.      Click the arrow next to save as

3.      To save the document in word 2007 format select word document to save the document so it is compatible with older versions of word choose word 97 -2003

4.      Select location you want file to be located

5.      Enter file name and save

 

3.     Cutting, copying and pasting text

 

1.      Select the text you want to copy or cut

2.      Click on the home tab and do one of the following -to cut the text click the cut word20073.jpg  button in the clipboard group or press ctrl & X

3.      To copy the text click on the copy word20074.jpg  button from the clipboard group or press ctrl & C

4.      Click where you want to paste the text

5.      Click the top section of the paste button or press ctrl & V
