Create signatures in Microsoft Outlook 2010

 

Professional mail signatures say as much about your company as your letterhead.  You wouldn't send out a letter without a proper letterhead, ensure you have a company standard in mail signatures as well, they are easy to create.

in Microsoft Outlook 2010, select 'File' from the top menu and then select 'Options' then 'Mail'

From within 'Mail' select 'Signatures'

Within 'Signatures' select 'New'.  You will be prompted to name your signature (it is an idea to have diferent signatures for different seasons or holiday, you may call one std another Christmas etc and apply seasonal touches or images)

In addition to applying text of your contact details, add a company logo and a disclaimer. Change font size and type as well as colour.

Once your signature is complete, chose a setting as to when it should be used, Select for use on new mails only, or on replies as well
